If you’ve stopped by the Lake Escapes blog a time or two, you know we like to highlight boating, of course, along with activities, events, restaurants, and really anything and everything that makes the Northern Idaho and Eastern Washington region a great place to visit. There’s so much to choose from that it’s easy to focus on each individual event or restaurant that we forget to simply highlight our favorite town, Coeur d’Alene, particularly the downtown area that offers so much to explore.
Check out Downtown Coeur d’Alene
Downtown Coeur d’Alene has everything from shopping with its over 100 retail stores to dining, live entertainment, art walks, and even a book that guides you and the kids to find a moose while exploring the town. With all this, something is always happening. You can enjoy specialty boutiques, fine art galleries, or even an evening stroll while window gazing at special treasures.
Feasting can be relished throughout the downtown, whether you’re interested in a craft bar like Crafted Tap House or fine dining like what you’ll find at Beverly’s found at the CDA Resort.
There are also community celebrations in the downtown district depending on the time of year. Enjoy a holiday lighting, a festive parade, or even a weekly Farmer’s Market which continues through October of 2021.
We could go on, but we’ve written a number of posts focusing on many of these activities. Here’s a few for you to peruse.
