Fall has quickly snuck up on us! Oh no! Boating season is quickly coming to a close. I’m going to shed tears. (We still have some good weather to get out on the lake, so soak it up while it lasts!)
But if it’s too cold already for you to enjoy a day on the boat, there are other fun things in the area to amuse you.
This Saturday, October 1st, will be Harrison Oktoberfest in the city park. Figured since we’ve been focusing on Harrison and its activities of late, I couldn’t leave this one out of the list.
So, from 1-7 pm this Saturday, sunshine or rain, you can explore Harrison’s local micro-brews and home brews, you can shop vendors like it’s a farmer’s market (but better), find food and face painting, bouncy houses and more. Especially if you have kids, the activities will suit the family for a fun evening in the park.
(If you’d like to be even more involved and volunteer for the event, contact Teri Riberich at 208.582.2341)
And if you’re looking for more information, you can either contact the Harrison Chamber of Commerce harrison.id.info@gmail.com or stop by their web site.
