It’s that time of year when a nice, hot beverage makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, like a simple, warm mug can keep the chill outside at bay.
Sometimes it’s extra special to add a twist to an old favorite. How does hazelnut and Nutella hot chocolate sound?
Here’s the scoop on Hazelnut Hot Chocolate:
Heat 1/4 C. milk and 3 tbsp Nutella in a saucepan, whisking.
Add 1 C. milk and whisk until frothy.
Top with whipped cream and hazelnuts.
Easy as, well, pie. And sounds delicious as pie too. I might not recommend this on the deck of one of the boats but, hey, I’ll pass along some fantastic drink options as the boating season rolls our way.
On a side note, I just realized this doesn’t actually have hot chocolate in it. (Blond moment, I know.) I wonder how this would taste with Nutella and hot chocolate. If you try it before I do, be sure to pass along the results.
