Happy Thanksgiving!
It’s finally starting to feel like true fall. I mean, parts of the Inland Northwest saw snow last week.
And, although the shortened days and colder weather can be a bit depressing, there are some amazing sights and activities that come along only at this time of year.
One of those amazing sights happens to be in Coeur d’Alene. It’s the Coeur d’Alene Resort’s light show. I know, I know, I talked about the holiday light show last year too but it’s awesome that something this beautiful can be revisited. For those who live in the area, maybe it’s a tradition.
And this year, the Resort’s light show won 4th in the USA Today Readers’ Choice List of the best holiday light shows in America. Um, wow. Our little, gorgeous town has national exposure.
From November 28th through January 4th, you can see the 1.5 million lights all a glow on the waters of Lake Coeur d’Alene. Plus, if you’re feeling like an adventure, you can board the cruise to Santa’s North Pole Toy Workshop and see one of the world’s tallest Christmas trees.
So here’s a glass raised to an amazing Thanksgiving, and then a glass raised to the joys of the season, including Christmas lights lighting up the night in a myriad of colors. (Please drink responsibly and enjoy!)
