Happy Thanksgiving from us here at Lake Escapes Boat Rentals! It’s time to enjoy a holiday light show!
We’re going to take a break from our series on boating safety for now and focus on a few of the truly wonderful things that make this season special around here. (Boating with Furry Friends/5 Tips for Wake Surfing Safety/5 Tips for Safe Boating.)
It’s always a little nostalgic when the weather turns and wake surfing or sliding down a slide on an Aloha pontoon aren’t at the top of the list of fun simply because the water’s too chilly.
However, this time of year brings its own wonder to the Coeur d’Alene area. Every year we highlight the Coeur d’Alene Resort’s Holiday Light Show and there’s a reason for that. It’s gorgeous. Plus, you can see it while enjoying the lake, so it’s a win-win in our book.
The Coeur d’Alene Resort Holiday Light Show
Starting on Thanksgiving and running all the way through New Year’s Day, you can enjoy over a million lights glowing in the night while floating on Coeur d’Alene Lake. Some of the locals consider visiting the light show a family tradition now. They visit Santa’s Toy Workshop and see America’s tallest floating Christmas tree. Santa’s elves even put on a fireworks display at the north pole!
Visiting America’s largest on-the-water light show is a great way to create priceless family memories.
The Resort offers cruise packages for the North Pole and seeing the lights, and also have overnight packages if you’re interested in creating a romantic weekend or a family vacation. There’s even mention of milk and cookies delivered to your room by elves and story time in the resort lobby.
Find more details over on the CDA Resort Website.
And welcome to the holiday season!
