Happy Thanksgiving! It’s time to eat turkey and pumpkin pie and enjoy the laughter of friends and family.
I was going to share a Hot Cran-Apple Cider recipe that I learned last year but then realized, oops, I’ve already shared just such a recipe. And we’ve covered Hot Chocolate, even of the Hazelnut flavor, and several options on Coffee (Cinnamon, German) and mixed drinks. So what new recipe would be fun to try this holiday season?
Ah ha! I found one. Haven’t tried it yet, so if anyone tries it before me, please share the results. It’s called Maple Chai. Now I’ve tried all sorts of Chai teas, some good and some not so good, but the idea of putting maple into it just sounds genius. Maple’s kind of like bacon. It makes all sorts of things better.
Here are the details on Maple Chai
Ingredients: (Makes 1 drink, I think, so add more according to number of people)
2 cups Milk
2 Chai Tea Bags
1/4 cup maple syrup.
Instructions:
Bring 2 cups milk just to a boil; add 2 chai tea bags and steep 10 minutes. Stir in 1/4 cup maple syrup. That’s it. Simple =)
