If you’re new to the Coeur d’Alene area or are visiting, you might not realize all the fun stuff there is to do around here such as Art Walks and Eagle Watching. Of course, we also encourage checking out a water slide pontoon rental or perhaps a pristine wake surf rental, but besides boats and water and spending loads of time in the sun, there are other great places for you and your family and friends to explore. One such place happens to be the Museum of North Idaho and its traveling Gadgets Galore exhibit.
We know, we know, it’s a museum and nothing at all like water skiing behind a boat, but you heard us right.
Check out the Gadgets Galore Exhibit at the Museum of North Idaho
This exhibit is showing until May 22 and includes all sorts of gadgets that were the birthplaces for the modern technology we rely on so much today. It’s a scavenger hunt style experience that connects technology of yesteryear (their words, but they’re fun!) with the gadgets we use now.
You can check out everything from light bulbs to Velcro, coffee makers to mp3s. It’s both fun and educational—in a random knowledge sort of way!
